By all accounts, it was a massage session at a Bethlehem spa gone wrong. This, as a male masseur was accused of touching his client's penis during a session, according to the Allentown Morning Call, which covered the sentencing for the therapist, Christopher Atanazy, 39.
The result of the Lehigh County Court plea deal calls for Atanazy to be on probation for three years, according to the newspaper.
In addition, he is ordered to have no contact with the victim and undergo random drug testing. He is also banned from working as a masseur and must pay a $500 fine, the newspaper writes.
All this, after Atanazy of Allentown pleaded guilty last month to charges of open lewdness and simple assault. The deal dropped more serious counts of indecent assault and sexual assault, the Morning Call reports, adding:
The case began when an 18-year-old man told police that Atanazy, who was massaging the man's legs and calves late last year, then moved toward his crotch and pulled his penis out of his boxer shorts. The man said he was in "shock, scared and had no idea what to do."
Atanazy then put his mouth on the man's penis and the man told him to stop, calling both a family member and police.
Atanazy admitted to the sexual assault and told police he is HIV-positive.
