Malibu Bar, Soi Eric

Had some very good times in Malibu - the first bar on the left as you enter Soi Eric - a year or two ago. Passed through recently and found it very much changed, with the manager saying that the old mama san (Joy, I believe) had left. Does anybody know where Joy went and if the rest of the staff followed her?

I used to frequent that bar a fair bit on my Aug 04 trip.......was Joy the large lady ?......she was a character.

She wasn't exactly petite, no. But she was a lot of fun (at least after a few tequilas), and the staff tended to follow her lead (too many of them to buy a tequilas w/ regularity).

Anyway, I figured she'd bring a good vibe to wherever she ended up. Wherever that is.

Yep that sounds like her..........tequilas drinker......l bought the girls from that bar a game of Snakes and Ladders as l was sick of playing Connect 4, they absolutely loved it..........but l do not know where she has gone.

The best thing with Malibu is that looong walk to toilet and all the girls caress you and try to win your love!
