My bf and I recently returned back from a nice dinner and a concert by the local symphony orchestra.

At the theater, I was browsing through the program and had an idea.

The program was loaded with names! Names of contributers as wells the orchestra members and of course the sponsers.

My idea is to take this list of names and get as many addresses for these people from the phone book. I would then do a mailing on a regular basis to these people.

I can do this in the future and have my night out at the theater be a tax deduction so I can get the programs!

Isnt it funny how we're always thinking about massage in one way or another? I do the same thing when Im out w/ hubby. Either it's a marketing idea for my shop, or we come across another massage business w/ a BAD marketing thing going on! (kinda a "what not to do" moment!!) SOunds like youre onto something, ENJOY!

You probably need to check this out with your accountant. However I wouldn't be surprised if you could include this as a cost of your marketing research as long as it didn't look like you were taking it to extremes.
