Marlee & Eglinton W. area parlour?

First it was 375 Marlee, then the other 3 on Marlee closed. Now I (finally) noticed that 2700 Dufferin has closed.

Other nieghbourhood places have closed as well, including ones that I won't miss: the one on the East side of Marlee (2nd floor, just North of Carrera's restaurant, might have called itself "Hong Kong"?), the Vietamese one beside the XXX video store on the W. side of Dufferin, just North of the Fairbanks Hotel.

I'm now looking for another ASIAN parlour close to home but keep finding them closed, tho maybe they're open during the day: one on the South side of Lawrence just West of Marlee, also1122 Eglinton W. (2nd floor above the restaurant) always has the closed sign in the window when I come home from work.

The place on the W. side of Bathurst, just S. of Eglinton is also closed, phone disconnected.

Any suggestions, other than the dump in the basement on the S. side of Eg. between Oakwood and Dufferin?

If 2700 Dufferin is closed it's news to me.... I was just there on Tuesday.

A few times I have seen a closed sign at MP and called the place and someone answered. Some Spas put a closed sign and lock the door when all attendants are busy.

There were some workers (dry wall etc.) at 505 the other day. They said they were doing repairs and putting in a new shower.
That's all they knew.

When 505 closed, it was for "renovations"- so the sign said.

It wasn't for renovations. LE shut them down as they did all of the other places on Marlee. I'm not sure of the details, but I know that they had to shut down for at least six months... so there is still hope.

That is what I was getting at, with six or seven closings in the area - and this is just the asian ones that I happen to know - I thought there must be an overzealous group behind the scenes.

I had checked the wrong unit at 2700 Dufferin, never actually having been a customer, and see that yes they are still open. But the other ones seem to have packed it in, despite some recently run ads.
