I know this is vague, but what time frame do people recommend after a client has a flu. I'm going with 72 hrs in the event they may relapse, to rehydrate and because I'm a total germaphobiac. :smt119
 


Here's our policy:

Q: When can't I receive massage?


A: Please re-schedule your session if you are running a fever, if you have been prescribed an antibiotic for a coneforum.xxxious disease (i.e. strep. throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis, etc.) until you have been on the medication for at least 24 hours, or if you have had vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours.

Also, consider re-scheduling if you have a severe cold or throat/nasal symptoms.

We do not wish to deprive any other clients of their needed care, due to what could have been an avoidable illness on our part.

I'm not sure that I can imagine wanting a massage within 24 hours of having the flu though!!! I think 72 hours is a good choice if you are comfortable with that.
