Massage balls recalled due to burn hazzard - WVLT.TV

(WHNT) - The manufacturing company, Vivitar recalled their Hot/Cold Massage Balls due to burn hazzards.

The massage balls were sold in a package containing two products at Target in the colors teal, light pink and lavendar.

The balls were originally sold nationwide, but were sold exclusively at Target from December 2018 through February 2019 for about $5.

The company removed the product from shelves after receiving 84 reports of the massage balls bursting and leaking during microwaving. There have also been 17 reports of burns to various parts of the body.

The company encourages consumers to cease use of the massage balls and return them to any Target store for a full refund.
