Massage Envy has established a scholarship program for applicants to the Nashville School of Massage Therapy.
The scholarship covers up to $3,000 of tuition and fees for the school's massage therapy program, said Christine Long, director of the Nashville School of Massage Therapy. The 600-hour program costs about $7,075 with tuition and fees.
The program includes classes in anatomy, physiology, pathology, body work, and business and hands-on instruction in clinics. Classes are Monday through Thursday, with full-time classes during the day and part-time classes at night.
"We have been expanding across the Nashville area and are excited to help people enter the massage-therapy field with a full-time career," said Massage Envy owner Hunter Shelden in a news release.
