Thanks for posting this. I do know there is at least one office from this franchise in Dallas, Texas, which I heard about approximately 1 year ago.

I don't know if I like the idea, but I guess it is not much different than the "Doc in a Box" medical facilites we see around town or the Clinics inside of the chain pharmacies - barring the monthly fee.

What I really hate in reading the article is: "Chiropractors must be licensed, requiring the completion of a college course and examinations."

I'll just set the record straight. It is much more than a college course.

• Requirements to get in to Chiropractic college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic coursework.
• Bachelor of Science in Human Biology concurrrent course work, if the candidate so chooses and has fulfilled the requirements.

Dare I get into the Examination proceedures, for this fellow... :irked:

Just as ME has "cheapened" the massage profession so it will cheapen the chiropractic profession.

$49 for 4 visits?
A great deal for people that can't afford the average $50 visits and whose health plans cover few to no visits.
And so, for this alone, it's probably good for the consumer.

But the only DC's that would work here would be those fresh out of school with no other options....oh, same as MT's.

I don't know...some people think some care, even when not great, is better than NO care.

Yikes! I think it's worse than ME b/c there's much more of a chance of injury to the client from an overworked chiropractor fresh out of school, than a massage therapist.
