massage help

Hi,
I've just signed up to this site so apologies if my request is not deemed the right way to do things here!
I live in Nottingham and try and have a massage as frequently as possible - once every couple of months. However, I've yet to find that perfect masseur / masseuse. So, what do I mean by that?
I want to feel completely relaxed when having a massage and I want to feel that it just flows throughout. As an example i had one a couple of weeks ago from a female therapist and it was nice, however, my underwear was kept on and I felt that throughout I was mostly covered in towels. The other extreme is coming across ads that are overtly offering a massage with 'extras'.
I want to be able to have a massage from either a male or female therapist where i am naked and there is no discomfort on the part of the therapist with that, so that the massge can flow and feel uninterrupted.
Can anyone advise me of someone around the nottingham area that they could recommend?

I will say however say that everyone feel differently about this matter and perhaps it is best to build a relationship with a therapist before you will both feel comfortable with your requirements.

Also, sheets keep you warm.

Perhaps you can find someone who is fluid with their massage and sheetwork (draping) so the sheets dont feel like they are getting in the way.

Just wanted to ask, why do you think that the flow of the massage is being interrupted when towels cover certain parts of your body?

How does that interruption exactly feels and where is it's emotional source?

I had many massages while being covered and have never felt any discomfort or interruption in the flow of the massage.

Im interested in this issue as a massage therapist who have never had complains about lack of flow of the treatment done with the towels covering private parts of the body.

To me this is MOST OF ALL the way of showing the respect both to myself and my patients PRIVACY. The erotic area is the most private for every human being. I don't get why anybody would go through this border and have it shown to a complete stranger (e.g the massage therapist) or why would the massage therapist agree on looking at the sacred area of their patient's body. Just for the sake of having another client? Or maybe we should call this kind of a massage the erotic one then?

Please, help me to understand that if you can.

There has been lengthy discussions on here about naturist massages which you are talking along the lines. There is nothing wrong with what you've requested. Some therapists are concerned with draping and others not its just finding the right one like Lollo mentioned. Have you tried searching the engines for naturist massage in your area.

Can somebody explain to me why some massage therapists aren't considered with draping? Maybe the ones who aren't could be brave enough to speak!

Because i still don't understand. I am the one considered ( reasons above).
Maybe if i knew how not to be i could learn that as a part of...lets say...my self-development process...

Will then you need to find a therapist that could do this for you. however my opinion is how can you expect a therapist to be clothed when you're completely naked and undraped.

We all have bodies, some people are shy or have reservations about their bodies and require draping whist being massaged, others do not, if someone is happy with themselves and do not have any hangups about therapists seeing them in a therapy situation, then it should not in my opinion offend the therapist.

Just because someone completely disrobes and prefers not to be draped does not mean that they receive any less respect from the therapist giving the treatment, it does allow full body and connective movements to be performed which can't be done if draped.

How strange
The therapist isn't receiving a massage so why should they be unclothed! I'm undraped as I am receiving a massage and for it to flow continually underpants / towels should not be in the way in my opinion (and it's just my opinion). For example, how could a therapist perform a lomi lomi massage successfully if the client was draped?

Hi heaven-spirit. I do a lot of work within the local naturist community where the client expects the therapist to be naked. However, I also have a lot of clients who prefer to be naked and undraped while receiving a massage but would be shocked at the idea of me stripping off as well. These clients are coming for a treatment (Hawaiian temple style massage) in which they feel the flow would be broken by having to continually move draping etc. The therapist does not have to be naked to achieve this.

If a person is a naturist or even wants their massage doing undraped and the therapist fully clothed, respect to them would be allowing this to be so IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH IT. Believe me, I have had this same argument with myself over and over again until i went to a naturist and i had a naturist massage, me naked and the therapist naked and to be honest i would not have it any other way now. It was exceptional. I didnt feel like a sexual object, I didnt feel like i was being examined or looked or leered at I felt as if i was being respected fully and given a really really wonderful massage. My private areas or erotic areas as you call them are private to me, yet i am not ashamed of them nor do i feel any less of a person allowing them to be seen. It was not an erotic massage. It doenst have to be erotic just because i was undraped. We need to move away from nakedness being sexual. Nakedness is beautiful. The therapist agreeing to do the massage will not be offended by seeing male or female genitalia - why would they? We all have them! Since experiencing this massage I have been on holiday with some naturists friends of mine and i joined in all the naturist things like going on the nudist beach and in the spas where you are not allowed to wear clothes and it was wonderfully liberating that i will now only go to places that respect my desire to be free from clothing, i have also given naturist massages to naturists and they do not try to push the boundaries as i have found with other clients, Naturism is a life style choice not a perversion, undraped massage is a preference and again not a sexual deviance. These are my views from my own experience.
