Massage Room Size

What would everyone say is an ideal size and a 'get by' size for a massage room? The chiropractors office I work in is thinking about moving and right now my room is 8x10 and WAY to small and he suggested that I go to 10x10. At the school I went to, the professional rooms were 10x12. So I am just curious what everyone else has or suggests. OR if anyone has a 10x10 room and how it works out for them. Currently I just have my table, a lamp and a stand/cabinet in the corner for my sheets and I set my Cd player and stuff on it. And I get by with and 8x10 but sometimes I can't stretch out or use really good posture adn it's sometimes hard to get around.

I have done fine in a 10x10. My other office is much larger and I actually find the smaller space preferable. I'm able to get some leverage against the wall, it is cozy and closed in and it is also warmer!

For what it's worth; my maasage room at home is 10 x 10 and it is definitely too small. I'm thinking about moving out a wall to give me more room. It is not just the physical space. With my towel warmer going it gets warm in that small a space. Add my hot stone roaster and it gets way too warm sometimes. A bigger room would give me more air circulation as well as more shelf space and more room to maneuver.

We're thinking of doing some remodeling anyway. . . why not move an extra wall. 8)
