Have any of you had notable success in treating costochondritis symptoms? One of my regular clients is having another bout with it (last time was a year ago) and experiencing both the chest/sternal pain as well as pain in the rhomboids and subscap. (She has been thoroughly checked out by a doctor and there are no heart problems which I know is a concern.)
Is trigger point therapy the most helpful with this condition? I was thrilled to see mention of it in Clair Davies "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook."
Any other techniques you use or have found valuable? Any other muscle groups to consider? It seems to me that work on the serratus anterior would also be of help . . .
Thanks, as always!
Sherry
