Massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting client - Austin American-Statesman

A 60-year-old massage therapist in Austin is accused of sexually assaulting one of his clients, according to an arrest affidavit.


Xiaolin Lu was charged with sexual assault, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. A woman told an Austin police officer that Lu assaulted her May 15, 2016, at Sam Serenity Massage at 11200 Lakeline Mall Drive. The location is in a part of Austin that is in Williamson County, according to an arrest affidavit.


The woman said she was getting an hourlong massage from Lu when he sexually assaulted her with his hands twice, the affidavit said.


It said she told Lu “no” and then got dressed and left the business. She said she had previously received numerous massages from Lu, according to the affidavit. Lu was charged Feb. 1. The affidavit does not say why the charge was filed several months after the incident.


Lu was not in custody Wednesday.
