PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) —
A massage therapist in Port St. Lucie is accused of inappropriately touching a single mother of four during a massage.
Port St. Lucie Police arrested 48-year-old Patrick Huff Wednesday on a charge of sexual battery after a woman accused him of inappropriately touching her genital area.
Police began investigating the claims on Tuesday when the initial report was made. The woman told officers that Huff, the co-owner of Hands-On Therapeutic Massage LLC, sexually assaulted her during a massage.
According to a police report, the victim told officers she had received massages from Huff in the past without any issues. She told police that during this massage, she could feel Huff moving closer to her groin area and told him she felt he touched her inappropriately.
The report states while the woman was still on the table, Huff whispered in her ear asking, "Are we still okay?" She said no and left the business, according to police.
Huff was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
The woman told investigators she found the massage business through Groupon. She said her chiropractor recommended she get regular deep tissue massages to treat the pain in her back and pelvic areas.
