GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - A Pikeville man turned himself in on Monday after three different women accused him of sexually assaulting them at a Goldsboro Chiropractor’s office.
Police say that 45-year-old Daniel Chase turned himself in on Monday at the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office after three women reported being sexually assaulted at Goldsboro Spine Center on Spence Avenue.
Police say the first alleged assault was reported to them on January 3rd and a second one was reported the next day. While police were investigating they say they were made aware of a third alleged assault.
Police say Chase was working as an independent contractor at the Goldsboro Spine Center and that the Spine Center staff has been cooperating with their investigation.
According to The North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy, Chase is a licensed massage bodywork therapist (LMBT) who has been licensed since 2019, his license expires in December of this year.
Chase was charged with three counts of second-degree forcible sex offense and was taken to the Wayne County Jail where he was given a $25,000 secured bond.
