Ok im looking for some input on this, preferably by someone who has experience with "freelance" work, not so much selling insurance for a company or photography but particularly massage therapy in a spa setting. I am starting massage school and have heard of several different options when entering the work force employed as a massage therapist but im not positively sure which one would be in my best interest. I know you can be hired on just a flat hourly rate w/ no commission or be hired on a strictly commission basis only. I also have heard of being hired on as a booth renter almost like a hairstylist in which you just pay your rent and expenses and profit the rest. From a finical stand point which one of these options for a massage therapist is in my best interest? Please elaborate on your personal experience with success or failure with any of the previous compensation options?
Thanks so much for the helpful info
