massage uniforms

Hi everyone! I'm a very new member, and I would be very greatful if someone could tell me where to buy some decent massage uniforms.

I haven't been very successful searching on line, and I need an uniform for my holistic massage exam in july.

Hi Massage and welcome to HP.

You could try Alexandra Workwear. Have a look on Yell.com for your local shop or failing that they do order by mail. They give discounts to students who provide a copy of their course registration. The short white jacket top with coloured piping is probably a good reasonable choice.

Hi

I love buttercups uniforms they are very smart and stylish and look very professional. I particularly like the black manderin collar top with the short sleeves with the silver button bars it looks great 00353 2755805/2755806 they based in Ireland but send to England. They might have a website but I am not sure they had a big stand at Olympia Prof Beauty last month.

Speaking of uniforms, does anyone know where the girls from "The Salon" bought their uniforms. I got mine through the college, but would like to know if one could order them online.

Its the mandarin style collor with the chinese writing near the side split.

Hi, I want to thank everyone for the feedback.
In the meantime I found a nice tunic @ www.thebeautytherapist.co.uk but at almost £ 48 it is too pricey for me, I'll probably only wear it for the exam.
In reply to Angel the Salon used to have a very bad designed website called wwwsalonservices.co.uk but apparently does not exist anymore.

I really like http://www.uniformcollection.com./ ( Florence Roby) _ good choice of designs that are not too "medical"

I have several things from here - The fit is good - and some have a bit of lycra in them for stretch and the full length trousers come un hemmed so you stitch them to fit your own length of leg.

I've just purchased a uniform from Cord Court, they have a range of black, white, lilac and navy uniforms, with unusual collars and different designs. They aren't cheap, but they use a wonderful stretchy fabric, much more comfortable and easier to wear. There website is under construction, however I phoned them and they sent me a catalogue.

Hi re your uniform question.

I used Alexandra Workwear for mine. It is very basic and was not too expensive. Do bear in mind certain things:--

Our tutor told us to consider that not all examiners approve of cropped trousers so go for the long varierty. Also stick to white as again some examiners believe this is more acceptable than colours and most importantly make sure it is ironed to perfection and fits properly and be sure not to wear coloured undies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps. As a note, my uniform was very basic and met all of the above criteria and then I took my time to find the perfect choice after I qualified. I know this has meant buying two uniforms but to be fair I always have a spare and if I have clients two days running I don't have to panic.

Hi! Thanks for this info! I was just looking for a new tunic as the one I have and used as a student is stained from oil and wear. I bought my first one at Alexandra but it was stiff and unflattering for normal use.

This site www.uniformcollection.com is cheaper than beautytherapist.co.uk but has the same tunic etc.

I found that you should look around and even the trade shows as that is the best deals although I had to buy online today!
