There are two ethical massage establishments very close to La Zona, VivaMex and Aztec. Both are within stumbling distance; a taxi is not necessary. There is much written about them. They are decent and the prices for the massages are excellent. Do not ask for sexual favors. Although a few mongers have reported that they have been able to negotiate said item, most report that the therapists are highly insulted. I have never tried.

However, in my opinion, the best massage anywhere close to La Zona is available through the diva herself, Tania la Famosa. She has been studying massage seriously for quite some time. Her massages are on par with the best I have ever received and I have received many, many ethical massages. (She claims her teacher is a better massage therapist than she but she has never told me where he is located.) Her full-body sensual massages are the best I have ever experienced (but I have never been to Southeast Asia where it is an art form). As an added benefit, Tania is also a world-class chica. However, be forewarned; she is much older than most chicas. Her pictures are accurate representations of her body. (However, that old devil, Time, has finally caught up to her in her face.)

If you want the best of both worlds, an expert massage and a session with a hot, young mexicana, schedule Tania for a massage and then have her call over one of her chicas to complete your visit. (Psst! Susana is a knock-out and very, very attentive.)

Could you be more specific? Do you want an ethical massage? Do you want a 5 to 10 minute lame massage which is just a precursor to full-service sex? The massage parlors in TJ are very different from the AMPs in the States.
