A massive storm hitting Chicago is going to cause some headaches for rush hour drivers in the GTA Tuesday.
Environment Canada says the storm is heading our way, and is expected to arrive in Toronto around 5:30 p.m. with heavy rain and winds gusting to 80 kilometres per hour.
“We’re keeping an eye on the situation,” said Geoff Coulson, meteorologist with Environment Canada, adding that intense periods of rainfall and wind could sharply reduce visibility and affect the drive home.
“People will definitely want to have two hands on the wheels, leaving lots of space between vehicles to give plenty of time to react,” said Coulson.
