Came across a local ad -- massage therapist needed for "Medical Dental Spa" was curious if anyone else has heard of this or work in such an environment...I know the basics regarding this but wanted to see if anyone has first hand knowledge and would like to share their experience...Thx!JoJo

I've heard of it, that the therapist mostly performs Reflexology while the patient is getting treated by the dentist, so that they are calmer and more relaxed.  I think it is a good idea, but I often wonder what dentists have space for me to sit at the end of their treatment chair to do my work... none that I have seen... but if they are advertising then sure, sounds good!It also may be a good place for people to find you for other treatments as well.  I would do it if I had the opportunity, I think it is a great idea.Actually, I may try it next time I go with my daughter, since she flips out in the chair just to have her teeth cleaned!!!

One of my clients is a dentist who has given this some thought too.  He asked if I would consider working out of his office to treat his TMJ patients and patients with sore necks and shoulders -- feet were not mentioned. At the moment, he sends these patients to me but only about 20% actually set an appointment for the work.  He thinks that having me at his office would increase the number of people who would receive the work.  We are discussing how to work it out/set it up.

Well...my dentist and his wife are a bit consumed at the moment with the recent birth of a daughter so nothing is happening regarding massage, dentistry and moi.
