If you have pictures of your family I'd put them in the area you control... or have your family there to support you. After all, people want to believe you're putting down Roots in the community, that you're going to stay awhile.
Are you also a gym member? Have you offered the staff a massage? If you could get a personal trainer or two among your "Fans" it might swing the battle to get clients your way.
Of course a drawing is always good, and can set up a list of interested individuals for you to do a mailing to in addition to signs or brochures they may see in the gym.
Where do the members of the gym shop? Do they frequent local health food stores, massageplanete, or do you know where they buy that cute Yoga outfit? Take some newsletters or brochures and ask to leave a few there too. The more they see your name and brochures around the more likely they'll be to give you a try.
Free samples are usually a great way to make friends, seeing that it's a "Meet & Greet" which pretty much precludes working on those you've just met I'd see about lining up some other free samples, perhaps a promotional item from you, a promo item from the gym and you could always hand out free samples of Sombra or other pain relieving gel or cream you happen to be fond of.
Definitely have a paragraph in your brochure that tells a bit about you so clients get an idea of your personality & interests. It may be just what they need to make them feel like they've known you forever... and help take the "fear" out of booking!
Please, let us know how it goes!!!
