The University of New Mexico-Taos (UNM-Taos) campus has graduated the 2016 class of its integrative massage therapy program.
The six graduates received a certificate in integrative massage therapy. The program prepares students to enter into the field of massage and become a licensed massage therapist in New Mexico.
“We are proud of the graduates for all their hard work, personal growth and healing,” said Kirstie Segarra, instructor and chair of Integrative Health and Medical Massage at UNM-Taos. “These six students are now prepared to sit for licensure with the New Mexico Massage Board.”
Segarra said UNM-Taos has graduated 65 massage students since 2008.
Classes for the fall semester begin at UNM-Taos on Aug. 22. More information is available at taos.unm.edu.
