Meeting Renee Tanner...

Hi

Today l sat my IFR exam the theory this morning for 3 hours....l think l've done ok, and this after noon l took my practical.

You can imagine my disbelief when we were told that it actaully Renee Tanner who was going to be our examiner...

All l can say is she's lovely.

Even though l already have my diploma in reflexology l wanted to go on and do the IFR exam, l was a little nervous with her watching what l was doing but carried out a full causal treatment on my client she asked a few question when we were giving the treatment to the clients...

After the exam we had a 20 minute talk with her on a one to one basis discussing our portfolio's etc..

She said l had passed my practical and l worked like a professional, also that my portfolio was wonderful, l have distintions for all my asignments and case studies.

She had been told by my tutor that my exam was deferred from last year on severe medical grounds, ( i collasped and had my left kidney removed) and unfortunatly have had trouble recovering, problems with the other kidney.... anyway l told her that this exam meant so much to me, because at one point last year l didn't think l would make to take the exam...

She then told me that she was nominating me for the IFR student of the year....
I could feel my self welling up. l've worked so hard to get to this exam and complete all the work..

I feel on top of the world, but shattered, it's been along emotional day.

Yipee, well done you! You will never forget this day, and of course it is all deserved 100%. I agree, Renee is a very special person indeed. I think she has that amazing quality of lighting lives up.

Very well done!!!

Renee is a super person. I can remember when she supervised the practical examination that my class sat and the relaxed way she interviewed us afterwards. She is like always like this.

I hope that you get the award for Student of the Year (one of our class did - not me *sob* .)
