Review Mei (May) - Great Health Wellness - 3016 Preserve Drive - (formerly Oakville Relaxation Spa)

It’s been a while since I saw Mei.
I used to she her fairly regularly pre covid.
I waited 7 or 8 minutes while she talked to prior customer.
When she arrived she looked, tired and really didn’t seem happy to see me.

She motioned me on the table and told me we had to hurry.
I asked if she wanted me to leave, it was abrupt, not welcoming.
Mei is nice enough, thick, with large breasts.
Age, I’d guess early 50’s. English is good.

The massage was light to medium.
Nothing exceptional, no tease, seemed she was tired, almost weak.
Within 20 minutes I had a hot towel on my back.
She began an even lighter frontal massage for 10 minutes.

She asked if I wanted to massage “here”.
I was not overly interested, effort was limited as was conversation.
I asked her twice if she would remove her top, twice she replied “I don’t want”
After a few minutes, it was clear that neither Mei, nor I was interested or aroused, so I asked her to stop.

She offered a head massage (after 20 min on the back / 10 min on the front / 5 min “here”)
Total 40 minutes and I told her not to bother with the head massage, and told her I was going to leave.
She just walked out of the room, I got dressed.
I went to the desk paid $70 for the full hour, paid $50 for tip, said goodbye.

As noted, I used to see Mei, possible she was not happy I had disappeared for a few years.
Possible she was “serviced out” it was a 7pm appointment, but she indicated she had 2 more customers.
She did send me an apology text, offering “better, best” next time.
I replied I would never return, I stopped visiting her a few years ago, seems sometimes you can’t go back?

My memory indicates she’s a reasonable MPA prior.
Service was always limited to some degree at least for me, despite reports here.
Overall rating 2/10 is the best I can offer, worst service I’ve been offered in a long time.
Not recommended, Not repeatable, Disappointed certainly.

The one positive, she does provide insurance receipts for $100, for 1 hour, if that is a selling feature.

I'll preface this by saying I used to see Mei, quite often before Covid.
She has been in business here for now 10 years, owning for the last 6 or 7 years.
She is an accomplished Chinese herbal doctor.
I have not been to see her in 3 or 4 years, and it will be much longer, if ever would I return.

Mei was busy with a customer when I arrived.
I arrived on time, she was quite late still taking to the prior guest for almost 10 minutes.
When she arrived to the room and told me we had to hurry as she had another appointment.
She was 7 or 8 minutes late, not a great start.

Her look overall was an exhausted women, tired, bags under her eyes.
Her mood, was bad, and it felt like she was thinking, hurry up and get out of here.
So I asked her, before I laid on the table, would you like to to leave, because I can leave.

She said not she wanted me to stay, that was the start.
I had booked for an hour.

Mei is older, I'd guess 50's, as noted exhausted looking.
She's thick with large 36DD breasts (that I did not see).
Description, short, stocky, neither attractive or unattractive.

The massage was light medium and it was apparent she was tired.
Very little effort was put into the process, after 20 minutes she asked me to turn over.
Front massage was lighter than the back, and after 10 minutes she asked me if I wanted a massage here (you know where).

Mentally nor physically was NO interest from me, as I was not interested or aroused in any way.
Seemed to me she had checked out, as there was nothing, nothing good with the conversation, the technique or the massage.
I asked her to take off her top twice, and twice she replied "I dont' want to".
I didn't ask again, at that point, I had decided that I would not return and just still back and have the massage, we were 20 minutes in.

During the conversation I asked how much for 90 minutes, she told me $120.
Asked if 1 hour is $70, why $120, I noted that the price should be $105, maybe even $100.
The response was, "I have big boss contractors come here for 45 minutes and pay me $250", I replied the must be doing well.
At that point any interest in staying or conversing was over, I check out.

I was on the table for 35 minutes and she said, she'd give me a head massage.
I told her not to bother and I would leave.
Total time 40 minutes on the table, total time massage 35 minutes, total discussion time 10 minutes.
She left the room, I got dressed, walked to her desk, paid $70 for the one hour room, $50 for a tip and said goodbye.

Additional notes, remember, in the past I'd seen this women 50 or 60 times.
Clearly she was tired, exhausted by my view.
Seemed to be unhappy with my arrival and had no interest in providing me service.
A missed opportunity for her, long term, and now this review.

Not recommended. Not repeatable.
I have deleted her number from my address book, and added this to the current feed.
Certainly one of the worst experiences I've had at a spa, at any time.
One of the reasons I stopped visiting were the heavy oil used and no shower availability.

I write all this, yet, I think she's reasonable, or used to be, as, she's been working the area for for at least 7 years.
Clearly a bad day, she's overworked, but suffice to say, the members should be aware of this experience, before a visit.

I may take this post down in a few days, not sure we should all be judged on our very bad days.
As you know there are lots of customers, but notable lots of spas, and lots spa girls.

In support of Sundance, I haven’t gone back due to a similar experience. Massage was constantly interrupted by phone calls & people at the door. Mei was rushed & distracted. Lucky if I got 40 of a 1 hour appt. minutes all in.

I for one would like to see May. It is a business for which they are almost all overpaid and I agree do not dump on resonable rates. If you can not say something negative than it is all worthless. It is rating a transaction. I like to know my girls as people but Quid pro quo. End of the day Mei will still be making good money it sounds.

I think anyone in sales (or do contract work, for instance) is like that. Maybe she needs to raise her rates a little and hire a virtual assistant to do bookings for her. but then she wouldn't be so cheap anymore.

My main girl gives me the best hard massages ever and not as a rarity or overly expensive, Sometimes she is tired or answering the phone while or just watching Wechat videos during and I am glad she is happy. I do not expect total consistency but she is the best I have ever found. One woman show.

I agree with what you are saying in principle, but - he fucking destroyed all credibility by saying he would delete the post - his intent was to obviously hurt her and then hide away - not inform anyone here of anything constructive. He was being vindictive.

I agree that there's far too many spammy posts that don't really add value. I took the bait this past week and saw three women that were hyped up but.. meh. Just not for me. I still tipped them more than they asked for but I won't repeat at them but I still tipped them at or more than what they asked for.

I think I would be a bit more nuanced about negative reviews. I appreciate it when people post their negative experiences but the tone of this particular one seemed super vindictive. The woman works hard, and does well enough that he's returned to her more times than my total number of visits in total to all sex workers. Maybe she did need a wake up call and that her standards are down quite a bit. I hope this does that and she can find some way to take a vacation to rejuvenate.

The negative reviews that I think would speak to most of us are the girls that don't try and just out to make a quick buck, or bait and switch. Those are the ones to avoid. If anything, the positive result from @Sundance69 's review is that if she's any good, she will learn from this and get back to her old standards that has given her not just repeat customers, but apparently customers that repeat many, many times.

I've known Mei for a very long time, at least as long as Kid, not as many visits as him but enough. She books far to many clients, her schedule is always interrupted the times I've been there and that's at least 23 times. It's not a great session when the door opens and another customer walks in calling out her name and she leaves briefly to settle the guy in. I stopped going for same reason kid mentioned, lack of detail with her massage, tired, non conversational, no sensuality, she was at one point terrific. I don't blow anyone off for a bad day, but unfortunately it was becoming too frequent. I mentioned her on here cause she was super cheap, and open to quite a bit
