I have not made much of a contribution to the forum , and am only known by few... (or less LOL)
However having read a number of your posts before Dennis, and viewing your two threads today I feel an inclination to add my 2 cents.
Whilst I am not completely surprised by the news of these upcoming discretions, not due to the individual, but due to the fact that I and a large number of people can directly/indirectly relate to this type of primal desire. :^^:
This leads me to ponder upon the readiness, reasoning, and desire to embark upon the type of commitment you have chosen. A partial knight in shining armor complex would not be uncommon under the situational circumstances of LOS. Whilst this can be an endearing quality, and certainly a good reflection of a persons nature. This can lead to wrong decisions! I am not saying that this is the case with your situation, but am making a behavioral observation. That is not to say that the outcome of the decision will not be positive and enriching.
(the actual reasoning will be far more complex to simply paint with one brush, however this complex may be one of the variables within the calculation).
So... The question is, why am I taking the time to post? Perhaps it is due to the detrimental affect instability can have especially at a young age, I'm going to plead the 5th... :intello:
Although your relationship is none of my business, nor am I professionally qualified to comment, and have nearly no knowledge about the parties involved in this situation. I feel I have constructed this post in an impartial light with the aim to provoke thought and illicit response.
I sincerely wish you all the best in your future relationship
