This probably belongs to a daylife section, but considering the kinky nature of my question i thought u creatures of the night would be able to help me here..

I will be visiting Pattaya, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Phuket. Are there resorts and beaches here that allow/tolerate nudity? If so which beaches? Is it common to see men wearing thongs or g-strings? I have done some nude sunbathing in Goa, but it wasnt enjoyable as there was this fear of getting caught by the cops.

I have read that u can roam in the buff on Chaweng, Lamai(Samui) and Haad Rin (Phangan). Is this true?

It's pretty common. I saw it at Kata, Patong, and Laem Sing beaches, not to mention our hotel. Quite a few women bathing topless as well. It's almost always Westerners though as Thais tend to be more conservative and frown upon nude bathing.

Personally there's nothing worse than a wooly mammoth looking guy in a thong or a old saggy lady with her funbags to her knees flapping in the wind. Only 1% of the topless or thong sunbathers I saw were attractive.

when i was in hua hin, there was a family and their really young daughter, like 10-11 was completedly naked running around the beach.
if thats how they feel, fine, but they have to take into consideration there might be some others looking at their daughter in not so good ways

This topic has been discussed quite abit previously. Nudity is illegal in Thailand, but the police in the tourist areas sort of turn a blind eye to it. But that doesnt mean its the right thing to do. You should respect the laws and cultural beliefs of the land that you are visiting.
