Yes after they broke the wall between LC and Miami, it was really LC dominated. Miami was kind of fading out. Both have similar atmosphere including the local dancing. And Yes FB, those pleasantly plump ladies you mean
And as for that "bombshell" Karina, she must have gone to some other location. On asking a Mesero he made a gesture of throat cutting. I see that gesture often with Mexicans, I guess it means Fired in this particular context ?
And if she married some guy ? FB is a possibility, but then he sounds too happy to be true

Miami is no more. You can enter Las Chavelas from either the alley or Coahuila.

Miami is still there sort of? They just knocked down the wall between the bars, and remodeled it. I think for the worst but some people like it. But Miami seems smaller now, and really I would just call the bar one big Las Chavelas instead of two bars.

Anyway you could still dance in Las Chavelas and LC is still known for the thicker ladies in the zona to put it nicely.

I haven't seen Karina although she works day I use to sometimes see her at nights too, but not anymore. But who knows maybe I just didn't see her as I been cutting down my visit to TJ too, although I went last night, and had lots of fun.

whatever happened to Miam, I hear that its name also has changed or merged with Chavelas. It had a nice setup though joint with Chavelas. It was more for locals anyway, I used to go there mostly to see one Karina (arguably Miami number 1), who has since disappeared I guess. I used to go there to practise some dancing, not that I am good at it. That is another story for another day.
