I recently bought LifeChat LX3000

Everything works fine, except when I have it installed (it connects to my computer via USB) all sound go through the headphones. And when I unplug it, the sound doesnt work at all it doesnt go back to my speakers. Im sure theres an easy fix to this and im just not seeing it.

I also want to know if I can only have calls on Skype or Windows Messager to go through the headphones and all other programs running on my computer to go through my speakers at the same time im talking to someone on my headset/mirophone.
