Hi there a friend of mine has asked me to treat her little boy (8) as he suffers from migraines. They have been getting worse recently and she wonders whether he is anxious about moving up to the junior school. I have treated a few adults clients for migraines and all of them have been a success. However I am slightly apprehensive about treating a child. She is staying in the room with him and all that ... and I know that the principles of the feet are the same.
I'm planning on doing a much shorter treatment about 10 mins per foot and concentrating on the head, neck, CNS, diaphragm, chest, adrenals. But do I need to do anything differently? I've treated my own children but not for anything specific. Perhaps I am being overly worried. I just wondered if any of you had treated children in the past for ailments - specifically migraines - and whether you felt any different treating a child rather than an adult. Also is there anything I should be aware of? Plus what about charging? It's only 20 minutes - do you charge a third of what you would normally do? Sorry all questions but thanks! x
