Mixed signals from a newbie guy...?

Hey, so a while back I sorta hooked up with this guy with a friend of mine. It was the 3rd time he'd done anything with a guy, but he took a shine to me and we've hung out a lot since then. Him and I get together like 2 or 3 times a week, and he's really relaxed and what not.

But I finally asked him what the heck we were doing here, and he told me that "I'm way more than a friend to him" but he didn't want to date because he wasn't sure about everything in life, but he wanted to keep this going because "I'm special to him."

Is this just him afraid to date his first guy, or is it one of those "you're good enough to boink, but not good enough to date" situations?

Maybe give him another month or two to make up his mind. If he still refuses to date you by the end of that time period, let him go.

Hmm, I don't know. He seems genuine. Is he new to the whole thing? Maybe give him some time if he is just getting to accepting himself.

Like you said - he's a newbie - and probably whats to get out there and try a whole pile of stuff before he settles in - give him some room - he'll come around if it's meant to be.
