i recently cancelled my ad for this next years phone book. i paid $180 a month! i can't wait to not pay that STUPID bill! i will not put another ad in the yellow pages.

What's your link for your website. I am looking for ideas for making one for myself to refer potential customers to, to learn the essentials of massage and backround info on myself so they can feel more comfortable and not feel like they are dealing with a complete stranger. Thanks.

The yellow pages are changing

Something tells me I am going to be playing keeping up with the Joneses with this stinking yellow pages ad.

Don't be too quick trying to keep up. If you watch that category for a few years those big ads will disappear. You can do well with one column inch at the most. Keep it simple.

Guess it depends on the area. Here the ads are inexpensive if smallish but there are 8 pages of MT listings (all legit, regulated state). Several therapists have listings as large as a quarter page, with full color, photos, the works. My 2-inch square costs me $35/month (no graphics, no color) and brings in cold calls monthly. And my practice name starts with "S" so I'm way down the list! Hope it works out for you.
