I am set to begin massage therapy school in January and I would like to know if it is recommended that I have moles removed. It's not that I have many moles, I don't. Perhaps about 4 ---- 2 of which are on my torso area. I also have 3 or 4 raised red marks on my skin, look like moles but are bright red, most on my legs. A doctor told me they're common with aging (I'm 41) and told me to just leave them alone. However, I am very careful in the shower with my fingernails when washing the areas there. I don't know if I should have those and/or the moles removed before massage school. One more! Varicose veins. Again, my doctor told me they're normal. My previous job had me walking for 7 or 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for years, and so he told me that's what they're from. And again, he told me not to worry about them. However, he didn't know I was planning to go to massage school. Any thoughts? Thank you all, in advance, for your time and advice!
