I just took a hot stone class and am excited to give it a whirl. Where do most of you get your stones? I found a place online rubrocks.com but I really would like to pick individual stones and shipping is as much as the rocks. I went to a landscape place yesterday thinking I could find what I wanted there. I wasn't thinking of the fact that the ones sold specifically are all smoothed with a tumbler. Anyways ideas? Some secert source sharing plz.

Most of my stones came from stonetempleinstitute.com and I love them!! I can't say enough about both the quality of the stones and the service of the company. The only thing is that yes, the stones are expensive and the shipping adds quite a bit to the cost.
I know several therapists who were successful in going to landscape companies and hand-picking their stones. You just want to make sure you get stones with the proper density and mineral content.
