Ok, so it appears that we have a "marketing adviser" of sorts now. It's pretty cool, actually. Anyway, today he came by with some ideas for targeting Mother's Day gift purchasers. He suggested two "Pampering Packages", one a little bit "more involved" than the other. I'm not primarily a "spa-y" sort of girl (haven't desired to break into the "spa treatments" market), but for a special package deal, I'm willing to try it. He has some really great ideas, but I'm the one who will need to put this together in a way that DH and/or I can pull off "in style".
So, what he was suggesting was a smaller deal centered around the 30-minute time frame, and a larger deal centered around a 1-hour time frame. We're thinking along the lines of the longer service for those who can afford it, and a shorter one for under $50 for those who are on a tighter budget- which a whole lot of folks are these days, as we all are so well aware. Chocolate, champagne (a glass, not a bottle, for the ones who get the larger package), flowers, candles, good-smelling stuff (which would equal essential oils or some other natural scent, for me, because I can't stand artificial scents), and a little goody bag to take home that would include a discount coupon good for their next visit.
Standard stuff, I suppose- EXCEPT- I have no idea what to do! I don't know how much "pampering" I could get done in 30 minutes-- a head/neck/face massage with hand and foot scrub, maybe? To give them time to enjoy their "extras" afterward, it couldn't really even last a full 30 or 60 minutes on the table, right? I do not have much experience with wraps and scrubs (other than hands and feet); it seems a bit involved to do too much in that short a time frame, right?
Please- those of you who have experience putting together "killer pampering package deals"- help me put something together that will be awesome, not *too* much trouble for me to whip together on semi-short notice, and that won't be too expensive. I can make my own scrubs, if we don't get too fancy with scents- that is something I've done before, and I have PLENTY of salt available (or is sugar more sell-able these days?).
