Titanie: Please see the thread Adelaide Street Spa. It is just a few blocks north of the Convention Centre. I don't think there are many in that area. You might check Romeo's Purple Pages.

If you're looking for MPs downtown, your best bet is probably the TD Spa at 490A Yonge Street. It is around Wellesley.
I can highly recommend Holly and Charlotte there but others have received good reviews as well. Unfortunately, the Search function is currently unavailable but you can't go wrong with the two named above.

I cannot give you a reveiw as I have not been there yet. However I have met the owner ( a very sweet and petite Russian) and she seems to have good business insight. We talked about 'you get more with suger then vinger'... she agreed. (in regards to her biz) Maybe you like to 'take one for the team'. Queen and Church you can walk there from Convention Centre.

Also agree with all the above.

Sad to say, the attendants are way better than the facilities here. 'Tho everyone's friendly, and good looking, if you're looking for the 'swell out-of-towner' experience, you may find the tacky partitioning and shared shower a bit-of-a-downer. As with the SCs, the best in T.O. aren't actually in T.O.
I'm a transiteer, and I think the ride to HFH, IT, the Pro and CB is worth it (about an hour each way for $2.25, drive is abou1/2 to 3/4 hr). If you're thinking of cabbing from the Convention Centre, you could probably rent a car for the price of the round trip to any of them. But do take a designated driver, please.

Blue Pearl Spa (http://www.bluepearlspa.com/) on Dufferin at Wilson, which gets full marks for 'swell out-of-town experience"; its got to be the most lavishly decorated and furnished MP in town, though you'd never think so from outside. I've had good times with Vanessa and Amanda, both lured from other A-class MP's when the Pearl opened (not that long ago). Bring your favourite CD, each room has it's own system. If only the doors did a better job of blocking out the hallway noise.
It sorta counts as downtown, 'cause a cab to Yorkdale (the big mall nearby) should be in the twenties. Or from the Convention Centre, wlk underground to the Union Station Subway, take the Spadina-University train to Yorkdale and a three dollar cab from there.
