MP Review - Alphacare

OK here goes.....Alphacare has probably gotten the worst reviews regarding the facilities on this board, but I may as well begin with a challenge.

* Parking: There is lot's of parking behind the building. However I have heard from MPA's that both clients and MPA's have been robbed there before. There is a big lot to the east that you can park in, but you will have to pay for it. Also, you can park at the Canadian Tire/Tim Hortons on Allen Road & walk to the spa (sometimes this ends up saving you time because it takes forever to make a left hand turn at Finch!) or pull into the Arby's and park behind it.

* Entrance: If it is during business hours just open the door & take the elevator up to the 4th floor. After hours you have to buzz to get in.

* Reception: There is a slight smell of mould/must you will encounter while riding the elevator. You need to "Buzz" to get a receptionist. Depending upon the time of day it could be one of the MPA's or some guy. I have heard that the guys can be real pricks, though I have never experienced this myself (generally I just shoot the shit with them, they are OK), also, there used to be a real cute girl who worked reception during the day last year - Man she was gorgeous, but not an MPA. If you are required to wait for a girl, Alphacare has a huge waiting room complete with chairs, tables, sofa, pool tables and video games. There are vending machines that offer snacks and pop/water. There is also a bank machine - However I do not know if it charges a premium like strip clubs do. Alphacare also runs porno flicks, so you have something to watch besides other guys waiting for appointments. The washroom is to the left of the elevator and it is very clean.

* MPA's: There are usually a lot of girls working each shift. It is strongly recommended that you check out the website (www.seealphacare.com) before you go. Phone ahead & book an appointment - It will save you a lot of time & hassle. If you are just stopping by, the girls do not come out for a "Meet & Greet". The receptionist will describe them for you. Mileage does vary with the girls, read the reviews to find one that will suit your needs.

* Hours: I do believe that Alphacare is 24 hours, though if it is really slow late at night they will close - So phone ahead.

* Prices: As follows for a 45 minute session (longer sessions i'm not too sure):
- $40: 8 am - noon
- $50: noon - 8 am
- The sessions may be cut to 30 minutes on weekends so phone ahead to verify.
- $20 Basic
- $40 Topless
- $50 NR
- $70 BS
There is a duo available at $70 for 45 minutes (Claudia & Amy are highly recommended).

* Rooms: Oy! This is a tough one. Behind reception there are a few small rooms. They are quite cramped. The ones outside of the reception area are a lot bigger (ask for them). Each room has it's own shower. The showers are relatively clean, though some of them do have mould/mildew (throw the floor towel in before you shower). The outside rooms have recently had new carpet laid within them. As James T. Kirk has pointed out, the walls have shot-spots on them - This may be true (I usually take my glasses off), however I am never in contact with them. The massage table is covered in tissue paper - Which is a major piss off, but it is quite handy when it is time for clean-up. The towels are generally well worn, but as long as they are clean (which they are) then I'm happy. One other point (as per JTK), the place smells like cat-piss. I can't argue with that because I do not know what cat-piss smells like, however, it does have that musty/mildewy odour - So if you have allergies....Beware. Other than that, the rooms are not decorated like HFH or IT (candles, lights, etc.) so do not expect too much.

* Intangibles: I must concur that Alphacare will not win the "Fanciest Spa of the Year" award, however if you combine the price as well as the service that the MPA's provide, Alphacare gives you a great deal for your money.

* MPA Recommendations: I'm not too sure if this is part of the MP process but WTF:

- Amy: Amazing GFE experience. Average massage, great BS and incredible natural C's.
- Susanna: One of the best massages around. Very deep & relaxing.
- Claudia: Another great massage. Very fun to joke with and provides a great release.
- Greatly Missed: Sara - What a complete package!!!

with the abundance of rooms and i would guess frequent use...the ventilation system has to be wacked...i went recently and just walked into a sauna

...the room had a heater but that was busted...the towels were abundant in the room i was in... but very worn...shower stall was small (not enough for 2)...and the room as a hole was very un-inviting...

my attendant sort of made up for these points but the combination of so many negatives are too much...

also a bs@80...well worth it though...

room @45...don't understand the difference in numbers but I have gone just once...so I'll let the regulars post some "real" rates...

Alphacare might not have the best infrastructure but the girls are ok. It comes down to the girls pure and simple. The location is quite convient for many, which is the key for me.

Alphacare was one of the first massage places to advertize mainstream, and first service many a massage virgin. Sure the MP scene has flourished now but let's not forget this pioneer that helped build an environment where massages are common, and affordable. You should see the place up in Windsor when I worked there. They charged twice what they do here, no variety, poor quality and LE looming all over.

I knew the rate, was going to give her $80 anyways, didn't have a 10 and hate asking for change. But was suprised when sandi said $80 regardless. All the others charge $70.

Thanks Toad....having just visited AC recently I can concur on the smell situation. The rooms are cramped and the showers...well lets just say, they've started to clean them better but I hate the shower heads that spray a fine mist.

The place has gotten cleaner overall compared to the last time I was there, but there is still more work to be done. If they pay attention to the small details, this place could become very busy with repeat clientel.

Torisan: I'd never been before so didn't know other girls charged 70, and the MP I'd been to before this charged 80 so I assumed that it would be the same even though AC charged another 10 for the room. I don't really care though, my experiences with Sandi have been more then worth the extra 10 bucks.

AC has been cleaning up lately. Thats probably cause they now can afford it.Despite the place being a little on the dumpy side the only reason I go is to see Christina.

Agree that there are a few gems at AC, but the place has in the last while got so dumpy that I haven't been there in months. Agree that Amy is a star, but if you think those C's are "tout naturelle" you are sadly mistaken. In fact her enhanced breasts are the only thing that I don't like about a session with her.
The other advantage about the place is that it is one of the few places still open late (is it my imagination, or has the # of places open past 1 am has gone down drastically in the last year or so?)

First off, good Review of AlphaCare

They used to be open 24 hours but aren't anymore, at least not 6 months ago. They claim that the Bylaws changed and 2am is the latest.

I have found the door guys to be ok but none too pleasant, I usually go with others so I don't really care.

Th girls are nice looking but I find unless you know from looking at the website first, you may not get the one that you asked for. I have also heard that some of the girls will rush the session.

I have been there several times and never had problems in the parking lot but I will be weary now.

The nice thing about AlphaCare is that there are a lot of women working at any one time. I have gone with 6 guys and had no problems getting in at the same time.

And I agree, Sara will be missed by many. She was my second massage and she definitely set the bar high.
