MPA is my neighbor?

Ok, I had a very strange experience yesterday morning, and I'm wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else. I frequent a certain few MP's in the GTA, and I never fear getting caught by anyone that I know, since I live at least an hour away. I work 1/2 way in between, so it's not much of a drive during non-rush hour, at least.

Anyhow, during my app with a very highly-recommended MPA yesterday, we discovered that we basically live within a few miles of each other. And we frequent the same summer weekend hang-out, with our families, of course. Now, I think that the whole tone of the session went downhill once we discovered this. I mean, she did her job, and yes, I did mine....but I think that we both were thinking the same thing - he/she could totally blow my cover! Maybe I'm just paranoid, but after reading the reviews on this MPA, I think she was MUCH more subdued than usual.

Very unsettling experience, to say the least. She was a very lovely and beautiful MPA, with a technique to die for. Unfortunately, I think I'll have to do my best to avoid her.

Just tell her that you'll keep her secret, if she keeps yours. Something like I won't show you mine if you won't show me yours. Who knows, maybe you guys could commute together sometimes and save a bit of our precious environment.

I've had a similar exp. with a well reviewed MPA. She lives blocks from where I do and in a place next door to where I used to live with my ex (talk about wierd). We both found that awkward at first but then resolved that it was silly to be this way - neither of us have any interest in "that" part of our lives being disclosed - a trust was built. I told her about the great stores and restaurants in the 'hood. We have laughed about the proximity (esp. given that where she works is not close by and that we both have to travel distances to get there...I went so far as to suggest she pick me up on her way to work sometime)

let's be adult about this. most of us don't share the fact that we hobby with others (or maybe that's an assumption that I'm making)...similarly, let's assume that most of the women we see haven't disclosed to friends and family what their line of work is. Hence we're all in similar situations. There has to be a degree of trust - sometimes you click (as in my fortunate case) while other times it's built over time; and sometimes it never happens.

I suspect that if there wasn't a feeling of trust with the woman you were seeing that you wouldn't repeat, would you? Think about some of the "mental" things about your favourite MPA that attracts you and i'll bet "trust" (esp. when handling your body and mind) is high on the list.

btw, the MPA in question and I passed on the street recently (I still have no idea how I missed seeing her - gotta get my eyes examined) - she said nothing as I was with my S.O. - this just comfirms for me why I think that she's one of the best
