msn opens facebook chat instead?

I have the new msn, and i have realised when a contact is online on facebook and msn at the same time, it shows up on the msn contacts and on the facebook contacts aswell. The problem im having is that if i want to send a file or go on webcam with them, when i open their msn chat it by default goes to their facebook chat option instead. Only if they are offline on facebook can i open their msn chat window. Is there any way to set the default chat to be msn instead of the facebook one?
 
On your hotmail settings, you have to disconnect Facebook from MSN. So, when they log on Facebook, you can chat on Facebook and when you log on MSN, you can chat on MSN. (:
