The victim Calvin Sawa (sp) 46 of Niagara, who was charged with sexual interference and invitation to touch was murdered on August 19, 2011. The suspect Jeremy Hall, who is currently awaiting trial for the abduction and murder of Billy Mason, is from Hamilton. Both inmates were being held in the segregation area.

Now, if Jeremy Hall commits suicide, it's a two for one deal!

The Hamilton man awaiting trial for murder is now under investigation for a death at the Niagara Region Detention Centre.

Jeremy Hall has been named as a suspect in an incident at the Niagara Detention Centre on Monday that lead to the death of a 46 year old inmate Wednesday.

No charges have been laid as yet.

Hall has been at the Niagara Detention Centre awaiting trial in November into the death of Billy Mason and is due to be transferred back to Hamilton.

Mason was considered a missing person for four years until details of his murder came to light.

He was abducted at gunpoint from his Hamilton apartment, was taken to a remote rural area of Haldimand and was shot to death.​
