Hi all board members
Just curious are Tai Pan still playing ,i think its Eric the Frog , limb by limb , california dreamin remixes ? When i was there in Nov95 few nights i went in a row and they were playing the same tunes.

Yes they are still open and playing every night.Recently theie resident lead singer died of a prolonged illness.I don't know who does the line up now.:embrassed

He was a nice friendly guy and loved belting out Robbie Williams and "a Land Down Under" type stuff....tho I must admit to always trying to turn up after the band had finished.then I was happy to listen to him (talk rather than sing) and buy him a beer............

I love Tai Pan! Met my first girl in LOS there. She was cute. Can't remember her name - I have her pic somewhere.

I agree with you BU, I love Tai Pan too ! I met the most beautifull girl of my last trip there and also met some other very nice looking girls in there.
I think there is more a thai atmosphere in there than in other discos, maybe it's just me or my imagination but that's my feeling. Looking forward to go there again in Decembre. Tai Pan rulzzz:happyi:

Only been to Tai Paan once, heard its for sale now as well if anyone wants to buy it. Although the owner apparently wants a ridicules price for it though. Last time i was in there was sometime in May or June... can't remember, music was ok, chicks in there were very poor but maybe Tai Paan was having an off night...
