If you end up having twins you'll have the tangable validation to her claims but until then it's whatever you're in hope of perceiving it to be.

Well Twins depend on the mother. The dad doesn't get to decide that with his sperm. Its up to you and your Eggs if they divide or if you have two eggs drop down at once. Look in your past family history and see if there is a trace of twins. But I wouldnt worry about what some random person has to say
