Okay, here is my plan to fill my appointment book as quickly as possible..ack!
This weekend I'm meeting a girl who's is designing and printing new gift certificates and business cards for me. I have to go to the coteforum.xxxe this weekend with my family so I'm going to write my personal notes, cards and maybe design my newsletter on my sisters lap top while I am there.
I go to an Aveda salon which is more expensive than I can afford for a wash and cut but I have been going there because we have the same target market. People who can afford $60+ for a trim, can afford regular sessions. I moved my regularily scheduled trim up a couple of weeks so I can go in on Tuesday. I'm going to offer her a day of free sessions for her employees (hair dressers talk to EVERYBODY) and a few hundred gift certificates for $15 off a reflexology session for her clients. I am tweaking the give to get unfortunately but only because I don't offer 1/2 reflexology sessions. It's just not the same.
On Tuesday I also plan to make a couple of iron on transfer's as suggested so I can wear a t-shirt that says Certified Reflexologist. I can wear them when I give treatments and I can wear them around as suggested hoping people will ask me about it. I'm also going to print my newsletters and envelopes.. do some yoga and attend my meditation class so I can center myself again after all of this planning and stressing!
Wednesday & Friday I have offered to come back to my current job because they haven't replaced me yet so it will help my income through all of this too.
Wednesday night a bar here has martini manicures. A busy esthetician does $10 manicures at the bar while you sip a martini.. How cool is that? Anyway I went once and it was really fun and the other women who were there were all entrepreneurs too. I want to give this esthetician some bus. cards and maybe gift certificates too because she has a full practice.
Thursday my Gift Certificates and business cards should be back from the printer so I will mail out a nice newsletter suggesting sessions outside in the garden or by poolside and I will drop off gift certificates and bus. cards to the hair salon and the esthetician.
I have also paired up with a mobile esthetician who does spa parties etc. She is adding reflexology to her website etc. so I will advertise her business to my client list as well hoping to get a few spa parties with reflexology.
I think this is a good start for me.. I am supposed to be doing corporate reflexology at a big local business on Tuesdays and Thursdays but that is being put off for a couple of weeks because we haven't got the contract all worked out yet but I'm glad it is because I will have time now to try and build up my rest of the week clientele.
