My Ratings Guide

It's Friday night, and all my entertainment and MP budget for this week is gone. Thought I'd keep myself entertained by creating another useless thread.

Everyone has their own system of rating MPA's, some are a bit lenient in their ratings, while other's are just brutal. Also everyone has different tastes, so one person's cup of tea may not suit the other, which is often reflected in their reviews.

The following is my "sacred text" when writing reviews on massageplanet.net. Any thoughts or opinions on this system ... you like it or it just sucks ? What's your system of rating MPA's ? You can give examples as to which MPA falls in what category. Or we can set benchmarks (if we can agree upon it) to judge all the other MPA's by.


10.0: "Perfect"
Virtually flawless ... It doesn't get any better than this. This is like winning the lottery on your birthday. It takes a rare and special MPA to earn a perfect 10.

9.0 - 9.9: "Superb"
An MPA with only minor flaws or imperfections. If an MPA scores a 9.0 or higher, you know she's great with just enough imperfections to let you know they're for real. These MPA's are the best of the best.

8.0 - 8.9: "Great"
MPA's in this range are excellent in almost everyway. Their few setbacks probably aren't too important. Highly recommended.

7.0 - 7.9: "Good"
A good MPA who has some obvious flaws. MPA's in this range might have some first-rate attributes, but a few shortcomings as well.

6.0 - 6.9: "Fair"
Passable, but just barely. An MPA within this range has certain good qualities but significant problems as well. MPA's in the 6 range may well be worth seeing, but you should approach them with caution.

5.0 - 5.9: "Mediocre"
As the title says, just average. The MPA has more weaknesses than she should, that in the end, offsets a strengths she may have.

4.0 - 4.9: "Poor"
Not worth your attention, and if you happen to end up with one, you should ask for a refund.

3.0 - 3.9: "Bad"
This MPA has some major suckage issues ... shouldn't get too close to any MPA in this range.

2.0 - 2.9: "Terrible"
Hobbyists beware ... Go at your own risk !!!

1.0 - 1.9: "Miserable"
Run like hell !!! Anyone in this category completetly lacks the attributes to be an MPA.

0.0 - 0.9: "Beyond Miserable"
The absolute worst of the worst.

Here's my rating system. Every MPA is different but they have various qualities that make up the total experience. Those that deliver that truely awesome overall experience (either for me individually or as recognized here by an overall consensus) get 10/10. Everyone else is measured against that mark.

The different qualities I look for are:
-Real Massage skills (yes i care about this)
-Looks/physical attraction
-Art of the Tease (do they own the room and command the session)
-Personality/Conversation
-GFE or PSE (some call it intimacy or mileage - how do you connect)
-Value for the Money (was the price worth it)

No MPA is perfect in all these categories but the top scores go to those that do well in all of them and excel in at least 2 of them.

10/10: Superstars: An established name in this business with a strong client base. Have the right mixes of ingredients that deliver that "OMG!" or "WOW!" experience. Examples would be Cameron (formerly of HFH), Sophie of SRM, Amber (formerly of IT), and Sydney (formerly of Utopia).

9- 9.5/10: Allstars: Very close to being Superstars but just falls a little short from making them Superstars. Examples would be Violet (now at HFH), Nikki @ SRM, Nicole @ Platinum, Allegra @ Platinum. Have that "Swweeett!" or "Veeerryy Nice!" experience.

8-8.5/10: Above Average: Very decent, worth a repeat. Usually my fallback options if none of my favourites are available. Have that "Oh yeh, I'm satisfied" or "That hit the spot" experience.

7-7.5/10: Average: (YMMV could factor into it, may or may not be my cup of tea but may be yours, repeat unlikely but possible if others are not available). I'd say Olivia @ silhouette falls into this category (stunning woman but the session was cold and mechanical). She easily has the potential to make the "Allstar" team but just doesn't. Has that "Well, that was just OK" experience

6-6.5/10: Below Average: repeat highly unlikely unless very desparate. Has that "Well, live and learn" experience.

How about school grades? A+ A-, B, C , D, E, and the dreaded
F. Numbers always remind me of accounting and finance. Who wants
to be regarded and remembered as a number. I like the breakdown
though TLM. Funny.

A+ - Mint (place on Dream Encounters List) - DEL
A- - Exceptional - God called, he needs his angel back B+ - Extrordinary - If the Leafs won the cup
B- - Remarkable - Feeling like Pamela Anderson's nipple tweaker
C - Memorable - Losing your virginity, you've had better since!
D - Forgettable - Like getting hammered and getting a DUI
E - Deplorable - Similar to the result of drinking tap water
in Mexico
F - Excruciating - You've met the devil, AND....Sheik's dating
your wife!

I like your rating system, especially divisions for the "line of no return" ... mine would be something similar to yours. Also nice examples for each category. So far in my reviews, I have not given out overall scores Instead, I do scores for each category such as: face, body, breasts, attitude, massage, the option (N, NR, BS, VIP), and finish.

I guess my rating system was made for the overall scores, but I have no problems using it for individual categories. For me, some categories carry more weight than the others. When reviewing, I give more weight to things like attitude, massage, and option, and less weight in the looks department. So if an MPA is excels in looks (eg. Olivia), but is crap in her attitude and service, I don't recommend her. I don't know why I created categories for scores of 5.0 and lower, because I rarely use it .... I think the only time I used it was to rate Olivia's attitude and Lexi's massage technique.
