Last thing that happened to make me smile:

I was canceling a flight reservation as I'm too ill to continue my travels. To kill time while the phone reservation agent was filling stuff out and clicking away we chatted about New Orleans, the weather and music.

He asked conversationally near the end why I was canceling the trip and I mentioned I have a respiratory infection.

He replied: You're the most perky sick person I've ever spoken to!

It was sweet and couldn't help but keep smiling a while after I hung up
