Hi - it's been a long time since I've actually posted. wanted to share that I worked for 3 days at the Natural Products Expo East this September and it was so much fun! The organizer of the massage booth had 2 booths and he hired MT"s from the local area. We offered chair massage and foot massage. After doing so many massages in a row I really became confident of my chair work and found out that I love doing foot massage. We had these light weight lounge chairs that the clients could relax into. I had time to look around too, since most of the massage work happened from noon onward. So, it was fun and lucrative as well! only down side - there were few people attending that lived locally to hand out my business cards to.

Now I plan on having my chair up and ready for some designated time during the week in my office and advertising in the local area that I do walk-in chair massage.

oh and I bought a Tibetan Singing Bowl!

I love those expos. So much to see and I'm a touchy, like to smell things kind of a person. The only downsides for me were some of the salespeople can be a bit pushy and having so many energy type people in one area seemed a bit overwhelming to me at times. However, my love of seeing all that stuff overcomes all else. It's like a catalog full of stuff come to life!

That sounds like fun! How many types of products were there?

Well. Lots of food! all kinds of food, so lunch was great with all the samples to be had and drinks. Energy drinks, supplements, some clothing, lots of lotions, cosmetics, aromatherapy stuff, bags - like shopping bags and biodegradable bags, etc., natural sweetener products, pet products... I had hoped to get some samples at the end, but that was when we were busy!

I was a bit overwhelmed with the supplement area and the body products...

It was interesting because it was a trade show and I was part of a service, so people didn't really try to sell to me. There were lots of distributors and retailers there to sell to. but you're right , it's like a catalogue come to life!
