New Bars on Soi Sansabai

Last time I was in Tong there was alot of building work near completion at the top of Soi Sansabai (opp the market behind JC). It looked like they were going to be beer bars and I I think the Thai Boxing Stadium moved down there since.

Anyone have any experience down there good or bad?

If your on about the bars under the boxing stadium which i think you are.

I took a wander down there one evening instead of heading straight to Bangla road.. at about 10pm.. and it was dead, the bars were open, with a couple of average looking bar girls sat around looking bored, was hoping to find some hidden gems but failed. Walked past, walked through the mall and down to Bangla! 55555

Exact same story as the above post and that was in march. I did however, come across a stunning girl. She was farm fresh and hardly spoke any english. This would not have been such a problem however, on sitting down to have a drink with her i noticed that she had a few teeth missing. I know it may be a little shallow of me but i left after the one drink. Im sure if she gets it fixed though this girl would have no problem at all pulling the punters.

There's always some nice eye candy in the mall but you can rarely get your mitts on it unfortunately but that's what Bangla is there for I guess! I'll check out those bars next month when I'm over and the cutie with the missing nashers!

I think the area does have potential though and the odd gem maybe be found there. The cutie i met may now have had her teeth fixed for example ad would be well worth a barfine. Alternatively, someone may have given her similar advice to what you mentioned and she may have had them all removed. In this case she could also be well worth the barfine. :

i had a look down that way as well the other day. not much going on

i concur with the mall - there are some stunning estate agent girls all up for a bit of banter, and the makeup ladies in robinsons too

my favorite is the skinny girl in the macstore. shes kind of a nerd as she fixes mac products all day, but a smoking body and very very cute. if i was single she'd already have her interview at the british embassy for a 2 year ILR 55555

only problem is she knows shes hot and must get offers 24/7 to go out. so it would be a very competitive market there

the macstore girl has an equal or perhaps even better body, but shows little of it off due to her uniform - i dont think many westerners peruse macstore girl as they do irishtimes girl

the bars will not be there long, near the new boxing stadium. The soi owner after bull sh.ting to the bar owners about opening the disco above and now thats not happening, is trying to kick the few bar owners that are left out. one year into there 3 year contract with out any talk of money back and then turn it into a big restaurant similiar to the tiger inn restaurant.

this is same person trying to sell the new bars in new tiger on bangla road for 7 million baht for 3 years.

maybe a quiet soi on opening night.

I think most bars away from Bangla are struggling big time at the moment.

Though I spent a bit of time at Otop and that is still relatively busy. I enjoy a few afternoon beers there.

A lot of low season package tours from OZ are booked into the hotels near Otop.
It's quite busy now.

Got to agree mate. Last thing I want to do on trip to LOS is hangout with the drunks I throw in the tank every night over here and lets be honest we aussie have bad rep overseas.
My first trip in January felt like belting on idiot who was treating BG like shit and could not even stand up he was so drunk but the mamasan and other girls sorted him out quick smart.
Funny thing was BG was so drunk she could not stand as well but still to sober to want to go with him.
