Hello all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that a new GoMassage.com http://www.gomassage.com site was launched last month. The new site focuses on allowing potential clients to find and contact therapists and vice versa. The site is free to join for all qualified therapists (there's alreay over 1500 listed) with paid options for additional exposure and benefits. In just the few weeks the new site has been up, it's led to hundreds of direct inquiries and appointments. (Visit our facebook page to see therapist comments).

Therapists can learn more and register by visiting http://www.gomassage.com and clicking on either "Join Network" at the bottom left or "For Massage Therapists" at the top.

I have been on this site since it started about 4 years ago. I am a bronze member and I have yet to see any results from this service.

So what are your plans to get other therapist like me better results from your site :?:

Really funny, I just clicked on the link and the testimonial on the front page is the one a GoMassage client wrote about me when I worked there in LA/Orange County. Years ago. The client is in NYC now. My name is edited out on the front page, but the full testimonial is on the testimonials page. It was a good one This was back when they were operating as a mobile massage business solely in SoCal and paid MTs as independent contractors. Much different set up now.

I don't know how built-up their presence is in some of the smaller cities, JLWmassage.

I did check it out - but the listings STILL seem much more geared to mobile therapists or therapists that do not have an office.

You may want to change the site around a little bit.
Add in more information and sample listings so that prospective therapists know exactly what they are getting.
I was checking out the find a therapist function and I think that it could be more professional.
The information asked for at sign up was my gender and my email.

I did not sign up because I don't want clients choosing me based on that.
I want clients to call my office and/or book on-line.
I don't want texts, emails, or calls to my cell.
So - this listing did not seem to be a good fit for me - from what I could see.

Maybe for someone just starting out?

Hi,

First of all, the Bronze plan was dicontinued after we took over the site so you definately weren't charged anything for it. We now have just two plans- one is Premium where you pay $20/month and the other is free. You can read about the benefits of Premium on our site but a it costs nothing to be listed.

Having said that, I have to admit that not many client inquiries come in for central MA, nor any other smaller markets. We're still building and marketing the site and hope to have some cool features available soon that will attract more clients and providers. As you can imgaine, building a NATIONAL brand (ie Massage Envy) takes a LOT of money, time and work so be patient with us!
