new here hi all

hi everyone im new to this board.
Im 30 years old and hurt my back nearly 3 years ago at work, i have scince had a fusion done on L/4 L/5 and a disc replacement using a cage.
I have had no relief from surgery at all , i now have added problems like unrepairable nerve damage and so on.
I would really like to make friends with people that are going through the same thing i am..

Hi i'm new to the forum as well. Kind of know what you rae going through - not had disc fusion but twice i have had surgery for bulging/herniating discs. The 2nd operation was in December 2004 when the disc herniated centrally trapping the nerves at the base of my spine. Surgery removed the damaged disc but has left me with permanent nerve damage. I have little feeling in both my legs from the knee down(right one is the worst) no feeling in my toes and heels. drop foot on my right side and a completely numb bum. The surgery has also left me with some more personal side effects. However, on a lighter note I am getting on with life - back at work full time - walking with the aid of brace and stick - and best of all driving again - i have got my independence back!

i wish i could return to work but that is never going to happen i have once again had a setback on friday night i was sitting in a chair when i moved and something went wrong it sounded like bone hitting bone and then my back felt like it collapsed so far down i have to go for further scans to see what happened.
At the moment i feel like i have no life which is not good scince im only 30 with 3 young kids, hopefully thing will soon pick up for me.

Please do a search here, and see whether you can locate a young South African lady's posts about how Stephen Turoff miraculously healed her spine after the specialists had operated on her, tried everything possible, and then given up! [>:]

She was able to go back to work within weeks of her visit to him in Essex! [8D]
