New Hi/low table

Hello all,
I just got myself a Golden Ratio Olympus electric table. I have been lusting for it for a while and found a brand new one on ebay. Got a great deal on it, too.
I just set it up yesterday and it's so cool Client really like it.
The motor is so quiet-I have a client who has a PT table in her house that's louder and she paid about 4x what I did. I'm really hoping that this will help save my body and allow me to be more effective. I notice it's great for stretching as I can lower it at the leg end.
Now I just have to deal with the huge box it came in.

LOL That was my first thought, too! "Got Kids"? Mine would usually rather have the box than what came in it!

If you don't have kids......I bet neighbor kids would love it. Mine always loved the boxes, too, and when neighbors built a house, they gave a huge cabinet box to my children. They drew on doors & windows which I cut out, then they got markers and made a great fort. They played with it for WEEKS. When it finally fell apart, a nice refrigerator box took its place. It made that Jan. - March in Wisconsin more bearable!!!

I love my electric lift table, it has helped in many ways.

I had looked into the GR Olympus, but at the time they were swaping out to a new motor. I had spoken to a local MT about her table and she said that was the only issue she had with it - the motor going bad.
If you still have a warrenty, you might was to ask about a new motor. The GR customer service people were very helpful
This was less than a year ago.

New table

I just looked at the label and the table was manufactured in May 2006. So I'm thinking it's brand new. I believe the motor has a one year warranty, so I'm good.
I will be getting the box today, we don't have kids-just a dog. I would like to keep it in case I need to ship it later, my wife is not in agreement. Could it be the other boxes in the garage for computers, bicycles, massage tables, etc. are getting crowded? :roll:
I really like this table, it's nice to be able to adjust it and clients seem to think it's great. I tell them I bought it for me. 8)
Does anyone know about the ADA tax credit? I've heard I can deduct 50% of the cost-beyond the write off for equipment. I'll start my research.

GR is ADA compliant, which means you can take 50% of the table cost as a credit. (but not the shipping cost.) You can take the rest as a business expense, either all in one year on a form 179, or depreciate it over 5 years.

GR just went to new motors at the beginning of the year. I was trying to order one of these at the time, and there were so many delays over the motor business, (they had my payment in full for nearly 3 months and I was already making credit card payments on it,) that I cancelled the order and bought an Oakworks. The GR seems like a great table though, I'm glad you like it. I LOVE my electric table, you'll get spoiled really quick. :
