new in BC and already dismayed

just moved form ontario (any other hobbyists who've been in both provinces will already know my story). went to a place on broadway last week. tried to get info fromt he older lady working the desk. no real info given - except base price (already shown on a sign on the desk anyway). apparently customers are not allowed to see the girls before deciding (i at least checked that the old lady wasn't going to be the one to do it - but i got no guarantees that it wouldn't be someone the same age).
the girl was slim, cute, clean and sexy looking (told me she was very 'new', japanese/chinese and experienced in shiatsu - all of which i highly doubted). just got a fairly lame massage with not enough oil.
she was a bit vague in quoting prices (seemed to want to see how much i was willing to spend before agreeing to anything), but it seemed like HLs and BJs went for $50 each - and it also seemed like there was no guarante she would even take off her top to do those. she as much as said that a minimum $20 tip was manditory. so, here i would need to pay a minimum of $110 for a HJ that goes for about half that in ontario - but without any nudity!

being able to get a nude "full-body" massage from a sexy girl whenever you want it is great, but unless someone can recommend any place to reliably get at least a massage and HJ (nude or not) in vancouver for say, $65 max, i'll not be continuing with this hobby here on the west coast.
i can go out to a bar and spend less than $110 on drinks and quite possibly end up with a lot more than these places are providing, socialize while i'm at it, and not get the feeling that i'm being fucked up the ass the whole time.

Having to travel to TO and Montreal for business and living in Vancouver, I completely understand what you are talking about. In my experience, what passes for exceptional service in Vancouver is somewhat the norm back east.

That said, there are some great amp's, mp's and sp's that provide great service, great attitude at an affordable rate for the average person available in Vancovuer. For example, there are many places on Broadway that unfortunatley specialize in "your experience" however, had you lucked into going to Broadway Body Care, you would very likely have gotten great service at TO "rates". I have never had a bad experience there.

The only problem is it sounds like he's not looking for F/S; so a place like BBC would be a waste of money at the all-inclusive rate.
YVR Dude, welcome to the board. I hobbied in TO almost exclusively for 6 years. At the time I started, the SP scene was much better there than here, but places like BBC and Great Pharoah have changed my opinion. (Once again, I'm talking from a F/S standpoint).

Maria gives a good massage on a massage table (ask for the hot stone treatment!!) and though she said on my first visit that she does not do HJs, it wasn't hard to persuade her (with no upsell). You seeming to find most expensive and least service places to start your time in this province. some of the trend here is to be way more expensive than it need to be so ignore those places. lots and lots of great deals in Victoria and Vancouver if you willing to look around. I finding eforum.xxx slowly good for that but many discussed here on expensive side. discuss on other places to find better prices.

I think it is a matter of knowing the ropes in each city. I have been to TO and have been extremely frustrated. I got to a MP. The girls won't discuss price or services. You are expected to just leave a tip on the table and see what you get for it. How much do you tip??? They won't talk about it. I imagine someone knowing what prices are would ahve no trouble, but I just kept getting pissed off.

Let's be honest...

The girls in Montreal are much much better looking, than Vancouver just to begin with, and as far as service goes, Van sucks.

Unfortunately, the majority of Vancouver SP's are over-priced, and it's probably due to the insane Housing market here, so these old morons with million dollar homes, that they paid 80k for 25 yrs ago, don't mind spending 300 to 400 on lame girls.
