The design looks good. It works fine in Opera 7.21, my browser of choice.

from one web developer to another ... try the following hints:

1. Use a Validator! http://validator.w3.org/

2. Put your CSS in a different file (don't have your css code embedded)

3. In Windows test with the following browsers:
a. IE 5&6
b. Mozilla
c. Opera
d. Netscape 3

4. DO NOT use the premade sites that photoshop / fireworks / dreamweaver spit out to you. Make sure your code is done properly.

5. Your site relies alot on javascript for different effects. Many browsers treat Jscript differently. For something like your galaries I'd actually suggest flash (as much as I dislike it).


Do the above 5 steps and your site is most likely guaranteed to work everywhere. If the site doesn't work then you can blame it on not following the standards. One note is expect more complex sites not to work with NS 3, however all other browsers should be fine.

Aww! I wanna go and you guys keep drawin' me back. For Macs, browsers came in IE and NS flavours, Apple has its own Safari, mostly built on Mozilla, I'm led to believe, me and some others use iCAB www.icab.de/, and there's an Opera for Macs, I think as well.
I agree Java often seems problematic, Flash a bit less so.
